Fresh, Local, and Sustainable Microgreens

Food production and supply are fundamental parts of our communities. Large-scale agriculture, although  highly productive, has significant adverse effects on air, soil, and surface and groundwater quality, as well as wildlife. Urban farms address these negative impacts by utilizing resource- and environmentally-conscious practices, while maintaining or improving quality and bringing food directly to consumers. Decentralizing food production and promoting consumer consciousness are, among many, paths forward to a sustainable future.
